Pakistan Cricket is going through a bunch of conundrums in the issues related to the coaching and management of the national side. The appointment of a full-time and regular coach is just one of the major concerns the newly appointed PCB chief Najam Sethi is tackling with. Although Sethi has indicated in a couple of his statements that the Board is looking back at the former coach Mickey Arthur to acquire his services his once again as the head coach of the national team.

But what attracted the eyeballs of the entire cricketing fraternity is the strange approach of the Pakistan Cricket Board get back the services of Arthur. So, the PCB has to adjust only to the online availability of Mickey Arthur as the coach of Pakistan’s national side.

It is also because Arthur is currently providing his services to the Derbyshire County Club in the capacity of a full-time head coach. He had enjoyed a couple of successful tenures as the head coach of a few renowned cricketing teams including the likes of Australia, South Africa, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka at the highest level of the game.

“I want to make it clear I am in direct negotiations with Mickey and I think 90 percent of the discussions. We have covered many areas and very soon we may give you good news. If Mickey comes he will be making his own team and we will only find how much we need to pay them and this matter will be resolved in 2-3 days,” said the PCB chief during a press conference.

Although this strange and one of its own kind approach of the Pakistan Cricket Board has drawn a lot of hilarious and amazing reactions from cricket fans.
