100 kids get treatment support by Sachin Tendulkar through Ekam Foundation

Sachin Tendulkar, the master-blaster and Indian batting legend has kept himself occupied even after his retirement from the cricket world. He's a renowned Cricket commentator on numerous sports channels. However, the thing which keeps him busier is his philanthropic side.

The iconic cricketer is involved with various NGOs and foundations that aim to help poor kids and women. Yet again, Tendulkar has shown his humane side by supporting the treatment of numerous underprivileged kids.

Sachin Tendulkar has given financial help to 100 kids from low-income families in six states of the nation. The kid belongs from the states of Maharashtra, Assam, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Andhra Pradesh. A foundation named Ekam helps kids receiving treatment in government and various trusts. In collaboration with Ekam, Tendulkar is carrying out this heart-warming act.

The Ekam Foundation and Sachin Tendulkar have joined hands to support the kids, who suffer from acute diseases and have to face challenges to get the essential treatment. Earlier this month, the highest run-getter in Test and ODI cricket provided pediatric equipment to support the Makunda Hospital in the Karimganj district of Assam. The hospital need the equipment to treat more than 2000 children every year.

The managing partner of Ekam Foundation, Ameeta Chatterjee, was very thankful for the gesture of Sachin Tendulkar.

Sachin Tendulkar gathers funds for helping the needy through his sponsorships and brand endorsements after his retirement back in 2013. He is the first cricketer from India to sign brand a deal with MRF in 2001 worth INR 100 crores.
