England have been magnificent in the 20-20 World Cup. The team has displayed its dominance by winning all their three games of Group A. They sit at the helm of the group and are just one win away from booking a berth in the semifinals.

England will next take on Sri Lanka on November 1st at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium. The Three Lions were deemed as pre-tournament favourites and they have justified the tag by playing a positive brand of cricket. The team defeated arch-rivals Australia in the last game. The winning has been a result of a collective performance. However, Jos Buttler has contributed a little more than everyone else. Buttler, who played a blistering knock of 71 against Australia, is the highest run-scorer of the team in the showpiece event. He has scored 113 runs in the three games so far.

Buttler is on the cusp of a big milestone. The wicketkeeper-batter is just 16 runs away from becoming the second England batter after Eoin Morgan to breach the 2000 run mark in T20I cricket.

Moreso, he will be England’s trump card against Sri Lanka. The ace batter has a scintillating record against the Asian team and is England's highest run-scorer against them with 256 runs in 7 games. He has also scored three fifties in the last 5 innings against Sri Lanka.
