India will take on England in July, after the World Test Championship final on 18th June. Once again, Jasprit Bumrah will spearhead India’s pace bowling lineup against England. In his Test career, Bumrah has scalped 18 wickets for India against England. India’s pace set attack will also consist of Ishant Sharma, Mohammed Shami, Mohammed Siraj, Shardul Takhur, and Umesh Yadav. That said, here are Bumrah’s 3 best spells against England in his Test career:

3. 5/85 (2018)

England needed to chase 520 runs to win the 3rd Test of the 2018 Test series against India. However, England got bowled out for just 317. Jasprit Bumrah was the chief architect behind England’s downfall. In 29 overs, Bumrah scalped 5 wickets, conceding only 85 runs in total. Bumrah scalped the crucial wicket of Jos Buttler, who looked the most threatening England batsman. In the end, England fell short by 203 runs as India won the 3rd Test of the 2018 Test series.

2. 3/46 (2018)

England got the better of India in the 4th Test of the 2018 Test series. However, Jasprit Bumrah displayed yet again why he was India’s lead pace bowler. In 20 overs, Bumrah scalped 3 wickets and conceded only 46 runs in total. Bumrah accounted for the wickets of Keaton Jennings, Jonny Bairstow, and Stuart Broad. India needed to chase 245 runs to win the 4th Test of the 2018 Test series. However, the Men in Blue were bowled out for just 184. Owing to some poor batting by India, England went on to win the 4th Test by 60 runs.

1. 3/83 (2018)

Bumrah bowled brilliantly against England in the 5th Test of the 2018 Test series. Unfortunately, Bumrah ended up on the losing side. Bumrah scalped 3 wickets for India in the 1st innings of England in the 5th Test. The bowler accounted for the wickets of Alastair Cook, Joe Root, and Adil Rashid. India needed to chase a total of 464 to win the 5th Test Match. However, India got bowled out for just 345. In the end, England went on to win the 5th Test by a huge margin of 118 runs.
