At no 3 in this list is South African cricketer Faf du Plessis. Faf du Plessis was CSK’s highest run-getter in the IPL this year. In 7 matches for CSK in IPL 2021, du Plessis amassed 320 runs in total. Furthermore, his batting average of 64 in the IPL this year clearly highlights his consistency with the bat. Faf du Plessis played a vital role in CSK’s success this year. CSK fans will expect to see more of Faf du Plessis in the upcoming seasons of the IPL.
2. Chris Morris (RR)
RR bowler Chris Morris is the most expensive overseas player in the history of IPL. Acquired at 16.25 cr, Morris was expected to deliver for RR with the ball. CSK all-rounder Moeen Ali performed exceptionally well in the IPL this year. Initially, it felt that Moeen Ali would not be able to fit in the CSK lineup.
