RR and SRH

RR beat SRH by 55 runs to win the 28th match of IPL 2021. RR opener Jos Buttler guided the team to a huge total of 220 in 20 overs. In reply, SRH needed to chase 221 runs to win the match. However, the Orange Army could only manage to muster 165 runs on the board. While some players impressed with their performances, some players failed to deliver as per expectations. That said, here are 3 players who flopped in the match between RR and SRH in IPL 2021:

3. Kedhar Jadhav (SRH)

At no 3 in this list is SRH cricketer Kedhar Jadhav. Jadhav batted at no 5 for SRH and entered the crease when SRH lost their 3rd wicket. The Indian cricketer looked shaky from the start, managing to amass only one-six in his entire innings. Chris Morris bowled the 12th over for RR against SRH. In the final ball of the 12th over, the South African bowler’s delivery dismantled Jadhav’s stumps, as he got out for just 19 runs. With such poor performances recently, Jadhav might lose his place in the starting XI in the upcoming games this season.

2. Kane Williamson (SRH)

Another player who delivered beyond expectations in the RR-SRH match in IPL 2021 is Kane Williamson. This was Kane Williamson’s 1st match as SRH captain in the IPL this season. Williamson scored only 20 runs in 21 balls, averaging a dismal strike rate of 95.24. Furthermore, the New Zealand cricketer could manage to hit only one boundary in his entire innings. Williamson’s innings did SRH no favors, as they fell short by 55 runs in the end.

1. Vijay Shankar (SRH)

At no 1 in this list is SRH cricketer Vijay Shankar. Shankar has failed to find form in the IPL this season. In 7 matches in IPL 2021 so far, Shankar has scalped only 3 wickets. Moreover, he has amassed only 58 runs with the bat. Bowling against RR, Shankar conceded 42 runs in 3 overs, averaging a dismal economy of 14 runs per over. With the bat, Shankar managed to contribute only 8 runs in total. There is a high possibility that Shankar might be dropped from the starting lineup in the upcoming games this season.
