While the IPL 2020 has been a successful outing for some players, and some players simply failed to live up to expectations. Players who under-delivered in IPL 2020 will be itching to make a comeback statement this season. Here is a list of 3 players who will want to revive their IPL form after a poor outing in IPL 2020:

Prithvi Shaw

The Delhi Capitals opener clearly has a lot of potentials. However, in IPL 2020, things looked bleak for the youngster. Prithvi Shaw played a total of 13 matches in IPL 2020. However, he could only manage to score a meager 228 runs in the entire season. Furthermore, his dismal average of just 17.53 clearly highlighted that he was out of form. However, after a phenomenal outing in the Vijay Hazare trophy, the tides just might turn in Shaw’s favor. Shaw led Mumbai to victory, also finishing as the tournament’s highest run-getter. In 8 innings, Shaw amassed an insane 827 runs with a superb batting average of 165.4. Shaw will now head into the IPL 2021 high in confidence and will look to put a gloomy IPL 2020 outing aside.

Glenn Maxwell

Glenn Maxwell endured one of his worst IPL outings in the 13th edition of the IPL. Maxwell played 13 matches in IPL 2020, but could only manage to muster 108 runs in the entire season. Maxwell could not also deliver with the ball, picking just 3 wickets in 13 games. Maxwell was recently acquired by RCB in the IPL 2021 auction at a whopping 14.5 cr. Maxwell will definitely want to live up to the hype this season in the IPL. After a fine outing in the BBL 2020-21, a lot is expected from the Australian allrounder. Maybe a change in the franchise could work wonders for Maxwell.

Krunal Pandya

Unlike his brother Hardik Pandya, Krunal Pandya did not have a great campaign in the IPL last year. In 16 matches, Pandya amassed only 106 runs and picked up 6 wickets in total. Such stats are clearly well below what is expected from the Indian allrounder. However, Krunal Pandya garnered a lot of attention after a great outing with Baroda in the Vijay Hazare trophy. In 5 matches, Pandya smashed 388 runs with a brilliant average of 129.33. He also picked up 5 wickets in the entire tournament. Furthermore, Pandya received his national call-up on 23rd March 2021. After an enthusiastic outing with the Indian side, Pandya will look to leave his mark in the IPL this year.
