These overseas players have performed extremely well in the 2nd phase of PSL 2021. The 2nd phase of the 14th edition of the IPL is set to start in September 2021. IPL franchises will look to sign players who have performed well in the 2nd phase of PSL 2021. Here are 3 PSL players who might be targeted in the UAE leg of IPL 2021:

1. James Faulkner (Lahore Qalandars)

James Faulkner has been in superb form for Lahore Qalandars in the PSL this season. The Australian all-rounder scalped a total of 13 wickets in just 6 matches in the PSL this season. Faulkner has also scored quite a few runs for Lahore Qalandars in the PSL this season. Both RR and PBKS could use an all-rounder such as James Faulkner in the UAE leg of the IPL this season.

2. Colin Munro (Islamabad United)

Colin Munro has been fantastic for Islamabad United in the PSL this season. In just 5 matches in the PSL this season, Munro has amassed an impressive 241 runs for Islamabad United. Munro’s batting average of 80.33 clearly highlights his effectiveness with the bat in the PSL this season. Munro has also amassed an impressive 1724 runs for New Zealand in the T20I format. KKR will look to acquire the services of Colin Munro in the UAE leg of the IPL this season.

3. Sherfane Rutherford (Peshawar Zalmi)

Rutherford has been in superb form for Peshawar Zalmi in the PSL this season. The West Indian cricketer has amassed a total of 241 runs for Peshawar Zalmi in the PSL this season. Rutherford also boasts a solid batting strike rate of more than 150 in the PSL this season. Rutherford was part of the Delhi franchise in IPL 2019. He was then traded to Mumbai Indians in the IPL last year. However, Rutherford failed to get any game time in the IPL. CSK could really use a solid batsman such as Sherfane Rutherford in the UAE leg of IPL 2021.
