Royal Challengers Bangalore

Royal Challengers Bangalore endured a brilliant campaign in the Indian Premier League this year. Out of 7 matches in IPL 2021, RCB managed to win 5 matches in total. However, RCB will have to play the 2nd half of IPL 2021 without some of its key overseas players, who will be on international duty. That said, here are 3 RCB players who might not play the 2nd half of IPL 2021:

3. Kyle Jamieson

Kyle Jamieson endured a brilliant outing with RCB in the IPL this year. In 7 matches in IPL 2021, Jamieson scalped a total of 9 wickets for RCB. Even though Jamieson was a bit expensive with his bowling, he consistently scalped wickets for RCB in IPL 2021. The 26-year-old also averaged a brilliant batting strike rate of 143.90 in the IPL this year. Owing to international duty with New Zealand, Kyle Jamieson will skip the remainder of IPL 2021. RCB will definitely miss the services of Kyle Jamieson in the 2nd half of IPL 2021.

2. Finn Allen

RCB acquired New Zealand cricketer Finn Allen as a backup wicketkeeper option this season. However, Allen failed to make a single appearance for RCB in the IPL this year. The 22-year-old is one of New Zealand’s emerging young talents in the shortest format of the game. However, Allen will be on international duty with New Zealand and is unlikely to be available for the remaining matches of IPL 2021. Finn Allen could wreak havoc with the bat for RCB in the IPL next season.

1. Scott Kuggeleijn

Scott Kuggeleijn played for Chennai Super Kings in IPL 2019. However, the New Zealand cricketer managed to play only 2 matches for CSK in IPL 2019. RCB acquired Scott in IPL 2021 as a replacement for Kane Richardson. Scott Kuggeleijn is yet to play a single match for RCB in his IPL career. With Scott Kuggeleijn on international duty with New Zealand in September, it is highly unlikely that he will play his 1st match for RCB this season.
