The 2nd leg of IPL 2021 is set to start in the UAE on 19th September. The final of the 14th edition of the IPL will be played on 15th October. Some of the world’s best cricketers will return to action in the 2nd leg of IPL 2021. That said, here are 5 cricketers who can be the Most Valuable Player in the UAE leg:

⦁ Shikhar Dhawan

Shikhar Dhawan is undoubtedly DC’s most crucial player in the IPL this year. Dhawan was sensational with the bat in the 1st half of IPL 2021. The DC opener smashed 380 runs in just 8 matches in the 1st half of IPL 2021. If Dhawan continues to fire with the bat in the UAE leg, he could win the Most Valuable Player award this season.

⦁ KL Rahul

KL Rahul is arguably Punjab’s most important player in the IPL this season. The PBKS opener amassed a total of 331 runs in just 7 matches in the 1st half of IPL 2021. Rahul’s batting average of 66.20 in the IPL this season clearly highlights his effectiveness with the bat. If Rahul delivers a similar performance in the UAE leg, he could win the Most Valuable Player award this season.

⦁ Avesh Khan

Avesh Khan impressed everyone with his bowling performances in the 1st half of IPL 2021. Khan scalped a total of 14 wickets for DC in just 8 matches in the 1st half of IPL 2021. The 24-year-old bowler also maintained a superb bowling economy of 7.70 in the 1st half of IPL this season. If Khan continues to scalp wickets in a similar fashion in the UAE leg, he could win the Most Valuable Player award this season.

⦁ Moeen Ali

England cricketer Moeen Ali performed brilliantly for CSK in the 1st half of IPL 2021. Ali smashed a total of 206 runs for CSK in just 6 matches in the 1st half of IPL 2021. The England all-rounder also scalped 5 wickets for CSK, averaging a superb bowling economy of 6.16 in the 1st half of IPL 2021.
