4 cricketers with the most centuries in IPL

The Indian Premier League has witnessed several batsmen play some sublime knocks with the bat. A total of 38 batsmen have amassed a century in the IPL so far. However, only a few have managed to consistently amass centuries in the IPL. That said, here is a list of 5 cricketers with the most centuries in the IPL:

4. Shane Watson (4 centuries)

Shane Watson is arguably one of the most destructive batsmen to play in the IPL. Watson amassed his 1st IPL century back in the 2013 season. His 2nd IPL century arrived in the 2015 season. In IPL 2018, Watson smashed 2 centuries for CSK. In 141 innings in his IPL career, Watson amassed a total of 3874 runs.

3. David Warner (4 centuries)

Another Australian cricketer to hit 4 centuries in the IPL is SRH cricketer David Warner. Warner amassed his 1st hundred in the 3rd edition of the IPL. Warner hit his 2nd IPL century back in the 2012 season. His 3rd century in the IPL arrived in the 2017 season. Warner amassed his most recent century in the IPL 2019 season. In 148 innings in his IPL career, Warner amassed a total of 5447 runs.

2. Virat Kohli (5 centuries)

At no 2 in this list is RCB skipper Virat Kohli. Kohli has been part of the Bengaluru franchise since the debut season of the IPL. Four of Kohli’s centuries in the IPL arrived in the 2016 season. His most recent IPL century came in the 12th edition of the IPL. In 191 innings in his IPL career, Kohli amassed a total of 6076 runs.

No 1 on this list is PBKS cricketer Chris Gayle. Gayle hit his first 2 centuries in the 4th edition of the IPL. His 3rd century in the IPL came in the IPL 2012 season. Gayle smacked his 4th century in the IPL in the 2013 season. His 5th and 6th centuries in the IPL came in the 2015 and 2018 seasons respectively. In 139 innings in his IPL career, Gayle amassed a total of 4950 runs.
