The first ever ODI match was played between Australia and England back in 1975. Since then, we have witnessed some superb ODI matches. Quite a few cricketers performed superbly in the ODI format. However, only a few cricketers managed to win the Man of the Match award on a consistent basis. That said, here is a list of 4 cricketers with the most Man of the Match awards in the ODI format:

4. Jacques Kallis (32)

At no 4 in this list is former South African cricketer Jacques Kallis. Jacques Kallis is arguably one of the greatest cricketers of all time. In 328 matches in his ODI career, Jacques Kallis racked up a remarkable 11579 runs in total. Kallis was also effective with the ball, scalping an impressive 273 wickets for South Africa in ODIS. Kallis won a total of 32 Man of the Match awards in the ODI format. 

3. Virat Kohli (36)

At no 3 in this list is Indian cricketer Virat Kohli. Virat Kohli is one of the best ODI batsmen of the modern generation. In 254 matches in his ODI career, Virat Kohli racked up an impressive 12169 runs in total. The current Indian skipper has won a total of 36 Man of the Match awards in his ODI career. 

2. Sanath Jayasuriya (48)

At no 2 in this list is former Sri Lankan cricketer Sanath Jayasuriya. Sanath Jayasuriya was one of Sri Lanka’s finest batsmen to play ODI cricket. In 445 matches in the ODI format, Jayasuriya amassed 13430 runs in total. Jayasuriya won an impressive 48 Man of the Match awards in the ODI format. 

1. Sachin Tendulkar (62)

At no 1 in this list is former Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar. Sachin Tendulkar is arguably the greatest ODI batsman of all time. In 463 matches in his ODi career, Sachin Tendulkar amassed an impressive 18426 runs in total. Sachin Tendulkar amassed an impressive 62 Man of the Match awards in the ODI format.
