Defending IPL champions Mumbai Indians are now at the top of the table with a victory over Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL 2021. After losing to MI in the 10th match of the IPL this year, SRH still sit at the bottom of the table with 0 wins in 3 games. After batting first, Rohit’s men posted a total of 150 on the board. In reply, SRH could only muster 137, and eventually lost the game by 13 runs. That said, here are 5 stats that emerged from the Mi vs SRH match in IPL 2021:
1. SRH extend their losing streak at the Chepauk

4. David Warner becomes the first batsman for SRH to register 500 runs against MI
Only a few batsmen in IPL history have managed to register 500+ runs against Mumbai till date. In the match against MI in IPL 2021, SRH skipper David Warner joined that elite list. Warner has now joined the likes of Suresh Raina, MS Dhoni, AB de Villiers, Virat Kohli and Shaun Marsh.
5. Kieron Pollard is now the 1st batsman to register 200 sixes for MI
The West Indian is the first batsman to smash 200 sixes for MI in IPL history. Pollard is the 4th player to register 200 sixes for their respective franchises. He has joined the list of Chris Gayle, AB de Villiers and Virat Kohli.
