While the suspension of IPL 2021 was a bane for some players, some players might be satisfied with the decision. There have been a few players who have been out of form in the IPL this year. That said, here are 5 players who would be happy that IPL 2021 got postponed:

5. David Warner (SRH)

David Warner struggled to find a form with the bat in IPL 2021. In 6 matches, Warner managed to score only 193 runs in total. Surprisingly, the SRH management sacked Warner as the captain of SRH. Furthermore, Warner was also dropped from the starting XI in the next match against RR. There are strong rumors that this could be Warner’s final IPL season as an SRH player.

4. Shardul Thakur (CSK)

Another player who failed to impress in IPL 2021 is CSK bowler Shardul Thakur. In 7 matches in IPL 2021, Thakur managed to scalp only 5 wickets in total. Furthermore, his dismal bowling economy of 10.33 clearly highlights his ineffectiveness with the ball this season. In 2 matches in IPL 2021, Thakur conceded more than 50 runs. Clearly, Thakur needed a hiatus from IPL 2021.

3. Eoin Morgan (KKR)

At no 3 in this list is KKR captain Eoin Morgan. The England cricketer struggled to find a form with the bat in IPL 2021. In 7 matches in IPL 2021, Morgan managed to amass only 92 runs in total. A dismal batting average of just 15.33 shows Morgan’s inconsistency with the bat this season. Morgan has also been ineffective as a captain for KKR this season. Under Morgan’s captaincy, KKR won just 2 out of 7 matches in IPL 2021.

2. Kagiso Rabada (DC)

Kagiso Rabada was the highest wicket-taker in IPL 2020, with 30 wickets in 17 matches. However, Rabada has failed to replicate a similar performance in IPL 2021. In 7 matches, Rabada has scalped only 8 wickets for DC in IPL 2021. Clearly, Rabada has struggled to find a form with the ball in the suspended IPL 2021.

1. Nicholas Pooran (PBKS)

Nicholas Pooran looked completely clueless in the IPL this year. In 7 matches in IPL 2021, Pooran managed to amass a meager 28 runs for PBKS. The West Indian registered 4 ducks in the IPL this year. He simply did not manage to deliver with the bat in IPL 2021.
