1. Suryakumar Yadav
One of Mumbai Indians' finest batsmen, Suryakumar Yadav has managed to capture the eyeballs of every IPL franchise. His hard-hitting and superb consistency throughout the tournament has been a game-changer for the defending champions.
He has a terrific strike rate of 148.23 with 461 runs in 15 matches. He also holds the record for the most runs (2009) by an uncapped IPL player.
2. Devdutt Padikkal
Paddikal was sidelined the whole season the year before, but now has become an integral part of the RCB side, battering 473 runs in just 15 matches, with only Virat Kohli leading him.
In his most recent game, the 20-year old broke the record of Sachin Tendulkar, becoming the fastest Indian player to ever score 1000 T20 runs. The former took only 25 innings to achieve this milestone, while it took Sachin 31 innings to do so.

This talented leg-break bowler, who currently plays for KKR garnered a lot of attention after becoming the first player to take five wickets in the IPL T20.
Varun has a very decent economy of around 6.84, grabbing 17 wickets in just 13 games, because of which, he has managed to get a call from the get his maiden call up for the T20 Indian National Team for their upcoming Tour of Australia.
4. Ruturaj Gaikwad
Gaikwad is not one to back down from any challenges, and he has shown that by not only battling coronavirus, but also by hammering balls out of the park with relative ease.
The 23-year-old became the first uncapped Indian to hit three consecutive fifties, scoring 199 runs in his last three games.
5. Chris Gayle
Chris Gayle, popularly known as 'Gayle Storm', is widely known among many Indian Cricket Fans as the player with the highest score ever in the history of the IPL, with a quick-fire 175 in just a meager 60 balls.
However, the 41-year-old Jamaican was sidelined during the first half of the season as he was hospitalized on account of food poisoning.
The Gayle-Storm finally came into a display with Gayle hitting 288 runs in 7 games. He missed out on a century against Rajasthan Royals. The Jamaican is arguably the best T20 batsman and will be on the checklist of every IPL franchise.
