The IPL 2021 will see some exceptional wicketkeeper batsmen take the crease this year. These players have the potential to knock balls out of the park with relative ease. Not only that, but they are also extremely efficient behind the stumps. That said, here is a list of 5 wicket-keeper batsmen to keep an eye on in IPL 2021:

1. Rishabh Pant

The DC captain and wicket-keeper will certainly be a player to watch out for in the IPL this season. Back in IPL 2020, Pant had an average outing with DC, scoring just 343 runs in 14 games. However, this year, Pant has been in fine touch with the bat. After a superb outing with India recently, Pant will look to replicate his performance in IPL 2021. There are certainly a lot of expectations from the DC captain this year. It is expected from Pant to deliver way beyond expectations in IPL 2021.

2. Jos Buttler

At no 2 on this list is England cricketer Jos Buttler. Buttler is one of the most explosive batsmen on the Rajasthan Royal's side. However, Buttler did not have the best time with RR in IPL 2020. In 13 matches, Buttler managed to amass only 328 runs. IPL 2018 was Buttler’s best season in the IPL. In 13 games, Buttler scored 548 runs at an astonishing strike rate of 155.24. Buttler will look to resurrect his form this year the way he did in IPL 2018.

3. Quinton de Kock

Quinton de Kock has been one of Mumbai’s most consistent run-scorers in recent times. Back in IPL 2019, de Kock was MI’s leading run-scorer with 529 runs. In IPL 2020, de Kock once again crossed the 500 run mark as MI retained the IPL. Quinton de Kock will be eager to score 500+ runs in the IPL this year.

4. Nicholas Pooran

At no 4 on this list is West Indian cricketer Nicholas Pooran. Pooran had a great outing with the Punjab franchise in IPL 2020. In 14 games, Pooran amassed a total of 353 runs. What is more impressive is the fact that he averaged a superb strike rate of almost 170. Pooran has the ability to sway the game in his team’s favor with some game-changing cameos with the bat.

5. Ishan Kishan

At no 5 on this list is Mumbai Indian's wonderboy Ishan Kishan. Kishan was MI’s best batsman in IPL 2020, smashing 516 runs in just 14 games. Kishan was also the player to hit the most sixes in IPL 2020 (29). The 22-year-old will look to continue his sublime form in the IPL with a successful campaign with MI this year.
