6. David Warner (43 balls)
In a match between SRH and KKR in IPL 2017, David Warner took the field by storm. Warner’s innings comprised some of the extravagant shots in the cricket dictionary. Warner was finally dismissed after scoring 126 runs in 59 balls. However, it took him just 43 balls to achieve this incredible feat.
5. AB de Villiers (43 balls)
When RCB faced Gujarat Lions for the 2nd time in IPL 2016, AB de Villiers ran riot against the Gujarat bowlers. Alongside Virat Kohli, de Villiers guided RCB to a mammoth total of 248. Miller finished things off in style with a six in the 18th over to seal the deal for Punjab.
2. Yusuf Pathan (37 balls)
Yusuf Pathan completely annihilated the Mumbai bowlers in a match between RR and MI in IPL 2010. Pathan’s century helped RR pull off an almost impossible run chase against Mumbai. Unfortunately, Pathan was run-out and MI won the match by 4 runs. Despite that, Pathan’s exquisite century was clearly the highlight of the match that day.
Chris Gayle (30 balls)
At no 1 is the West Indian legend, Chris Gayle. Gayle played the innings of his life in a match against PWI in IPl 2013. In just 66 balls, Gayle smashed an astonishing 175 runs. His mammoth knock helped RCB post a total of 263. This total still remains the highest total in IPL history. Gayle also created history, as his century off 30 balls is the fastest in all 3 formats of the men’s senior cricket.
