India’s stand-in skipper, Hardik Pandya looked quite unhappy with the arrangements made by the West Indies Cricket Board in the recently-concluded three-match ODI series. Pandya expressed his disappointment in the post-match presentation after the conclusion of the third ODI between West Indies and India. He said that the basic facilities should have been completed by the hosts.

Notably, Hardik led the Men in Blue in the second and third ODI of the three-match ODI series as the regular skipper Rohit Sharma was given a rest, alongside former skipper Virat Kohli. The Hardik-led Team India lost the penultimate match of the series by 6 wickets before making a strong comeback in the third and last ODI of the series.

We don't want luxuries but some basic things are needed - Hardik Pandya

“This is one of the nicest grounds I have played in. A lot of things could be better when we come to West Indies last time, travelling and everything. Last time also some hiccups came. So, the WI board should also take note. We don't want luxuries but some basic things are needed,” said Hardik Pandya during the post-match presentation.

Apart from this, the 29-year-old also spoke about Team India's performance in the series decider and the one-sided result of the match. He said that he looks forward to this kind of match in future.

“If I'm being very honest, as a captain I look forward to these kinds of games where something is on the line and not just an international game. We knew that if we failed, there was some disappointment. The way the boys came out and showed their character and at the same point of time they enjoyed it, that's something I want this team to have. In pressure situations, they have to absorb it but also enjoy it. Without pressure, you can't be heroes,” said Hardik.

Hardik’s statement on arrangements by the WI cricket board gave the fans an opportunity to troll him. They took to Twitter and trolled the Indian skipper with some hilarious remarks.
