Virat Kohli and Babar Azam are two of the finest cricketers of this generation and it is always a matter of debate among the fans as to who is the best among them. Both are known for achieving and breaking numerous records and are always compared for many reasons. While Kohli has already reached greater heights, Babar proved that his name is not far from making the list with his scintillating performance.
However, former India spinner Harbhajan Singh feels that the Pakistan captain "still has a lot to do to" reach the level of India's ace batter. Kohli has been sensational in all three formats of the game over the years. The former India skipper was able to maintain his staggering stats while leading India in all formats. Babar is also a key player for Pakistan in all formats, but Harbhajan opined that the 28-year-old isn't suited for T20 cricket.
In a video on his YouTube channel, the legendary spinner discussed Babar and Kohli's current stature in international cricket with former Pakistan speedster Shoaib Akhtar.
"Virat Kohli has established himself as a great, while Babar still has a lot to do. He will reach there someday, as he is a wonderful player. He is very good in Test cricket, but maybe T20 doesn't suit him a lot," Bhajji said.
Akhtar also agreed with Harbhajan, saying: "Virat Kohli is the greatest, and Babar Azam is in the making to be the greatest batsman ever. He is trying to get better in T20s. People are behind him for no reason."
Farid Khan asks Harbhajan to reconsider his statement about Babar
Meanwhile, Harbhajan's statement about Babar did not sit well with Pakistan journalist Farid Khan, who took to Twitter to counter the off-spinners view. Farid, who asked Harbhajan to reconsider his remarks, said Babar has the second most hundreds (9) in T20 cricket, trailing only West Indies great Chris Gayle's 22.
"Hi @harbhajan_singh ! I would like you to reconsider your statement that 'T20 cricket does not suit Babar Azam'. Babar has NINE tons in T20 cricket, which are the most by a human. Gayle has 22 and he's a superhuman. No other player has more! Love from Pakistan," he tweeted.

Jayga… agreed with Bhajji
But he never seems to be a threat to the bowlers. and his power hitting game is absolutely pathetic in t20is. His strike rate is pathetic, too.

Yeah yeah all 9 tons are in Pinti flat pitch

With 40 meters Boundaries
@babarazam258 is the greatest batsman at the moment. I have a gut feeling that #WC2023 belongs to Pakistan. India will also loose to Pakistan in Ahmedabad.

Centuries are not important in T20's Impactful innings are important. at last strike rate matters in T20's rather than hundred

1) 3 hundreds on Rawalpindi roads
2) 1 hundred vs SA c team
3) 5 hundreds vs club matches
Most T20 hundreds by Asian batters when they opened for their team (Innings)

Babar's T20 avg- 41.5 with 128.4 SR
If the no. of centuries in T20 decides the superiority of a batsman (according to u), then u should definitely stop watching cricket ASAP
I completely agree with Harbhajan
Most Statspadding in T20 - Babar azam
