Former batsman Gautam Gambhir believes that there is no need for Jasprit Bumrah to play all four test matches against England. The former cricketer feels that the pacer should be ready for the other challenges ahead. The bowler has been ruled out of the on-going Border-Gavaskar Series. The 27-year-old is going to miss the series-decider at Brisbane, due to an abdominal strain.

After the Australian series, team India will head back home for the England series, starting February 5. They have a lot of international cricket in the year ahead. Gautam Gambhir talked about Jasprit Bumrah's workload management, as he is a significant player for the Indian side in all three formats of the game.

Gambir believes that Jasprit Bumrah will be a force to rely upon in home conditions. The 39-year-old also expects Mohammed Shami and Ishant Sharma to be playing for the forthcoming England series.
