Pakistan impressed one and all with their heart-warming performances in the last edition of the 20-20 World Cup. They didn’t lose a single game in the group stage but were knocked out of the competition after losing to Australia in the semi-final.

However, the Men in Green haven’t been able to make a similar start in this ongoing edition of the World Cup. In their first match against India, Pakistan suffered a 1-run defeat in Melbourne. However, the fans weren’t too disheartened as their team fought hard with both bat and ball.

The bowling unit was equally impressive in the next match against Zimbabwe as they had restricted the opposition to just 130 runs on the board. However, Babar Azam and Co. failed to chase down the target as they managed 129 runs in their allotted 20 overs, falling just 1 run short of the target.

Openers, Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan, once again fell cheaply. Prior to the start of the competition, there were a lot of talks about the fragile middle order of Pakistan and it was exposed against Zimbabwe on Thursday in Perth.

The fans and the cricket experts in Pakistan were extremely disappointed with the result and a lot of them took to their social media handles to express their frustration on the same. Former Pakistan players, namely Wasim Akram, Misbah Ul-Haq, and Shoaib Akhtar didn’t mince their words in bashing the Pakistan Cricket Team.

Meanwhile, a video of a fan threatening Babar Azam has gone viral on the internet. In the short clip, the fan could be heard saying in Punjabi, "Babar Azam main tere hotel aariyan hai, jutiyan maran, mainu tere room da number pata lag gya hai. Phauch tu hotel" (Babar Azam, I am coming to your hotel to beat you up. I know your room number)

Here’s the video clip:

Pakistan are slated to play their next match against the Netherlands on Sunday.
