It was a massive moment for the Pakistan team and their fans when England came to play the three-match Test series in Pakistan after a long gap of 17 years. On 1 December 2022, the first match of the series took place in Rawalpindi. But, England came out victorious as they defeated the Men in Green by 74 runs.

Fans were unhappy with the result as it was another loss for the home team. It was a setback in their dream of playing in the World Test Championship. Even, they criticized Ramiz Raja and skipper Babar Azam for the Rawalpindi pitch and captaincy decisions respectively. Now, the former Pakistan spinner, Danish Kaneria came up with a massive comment regarding that loss.

“Toh seekho na. Kab seekhoge? Time Guzar jayega.” - Danish Kaneria slammed Babar Azam after the loss of Pakistan

While speaking on his YouTube channel, Danish Kaneria slammed the Pakistan skipper and the chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board. He said: "Abhi hamari management ake baat karegi, Babar Azam baat karenge, PCB k head baat karenge 'acchi cricket kheli England ne, hume unse seekhna chaie. Toh seekho na. Kab seekhoge? Time Guzar jayega.”

He also added that now the team management will blame the absence of Shaheen Afridi from the team while Babar Azam needs to learn captaincy from Ben Stokes for better results. "They might blame Shaheen Afridi’s absence for the loss. If he’s not available, then dusre achar bechne aaye thhe?” Kaneria added.

"We only talk about the revival of international cricket in Pakistan. Pura din wahi manjan chal raha hota hai. Pakistan were clueless. Babar Azam should learn from Ben Stokes’ captaincy. Coaches around the world should also learn from Brendon McCullum. Their team doesn’t fear loss, but ours does. Our management fears losses. They only say that the team has been doing good. We are the No. 1 team. How can the Asia Cup happen without us? etc., but we don’t check where our cricket is heading. We made the wicket which was called dead rubber in Rawalpindi," Danish Kaneria concluded.
