Star Indian pacer Umesh Yadav is a part of Team India’s playing XI of the ongoing third of the four-match Test series against Australia. Both teams are playing this match at the Holkar Stadium in Indore. Notably, the veteran pacer Umesh has been called to the playing XI in place of another senior pacer Mohammed Shami.
Although India have had a very thin outing in the first innings as they got all out only on the score of 109 runs. But it was lower-order batter Umesh Yadav who attracted the headlines for his quick cameo of 17 runs including two sixes and a boundary to his name. Interestingly, the 35-year-old has also surpassed the former Indian greats Ravi Shastri and Yuvraj Singh in terms of hitting sixes in Test cricket.

The visitors have lost the first wicket in the form of opener Travis Head off senior Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja.
