So, fans were worried as the World Cup was approaching. But, since that tournament, Virat Kohli has shown a great patch of run with the bat.

In the Asia Cup campaign, Virat Kohli was the second-highest scorer. Now, in the ongoing World Cup, he has shown a great run of form with the bat. On 5 November 2022, he is celebrating his 34th birthday. Now, a video went viral where the former Indian skipper was seen celebrating his birthday with media persons at MCG.

Speaking of the video, Virat Kohli was seen coming out of the MCG. Many media persons were seen as Virat Kohli cutting a cake there. However, he also shared some light moments with those media persons. Meanwhile, Kohli even said: “Aap logon ne to kabhi cake nahi bheja mujhe” with a smile. 

Speaking of his current form, he has scored 220 runs in four matches so far in this ongoing World Cup. Against Pakistan and Bangladesh, Virat Kohli came up with match-winning knocks. Against arch-rivals Pakistan, Kohli scored 82* runs off 53 balls, at a strike rate of 154.71. Then, against Bangladesh, he scored 64* runs off 44 balls, at a strike rate of 145.45. 

Even, now he has become the highest run-scorer in the history of the 20-20 World Cup. On 4 November in Adelaide, Australia took on Afghanistan. Glenn Maxwell won the player of the match award for his match-winning knock. Glenn Maxwell was seen speaking after their victory over the Afghans in Adelaide. There, a reporter asked him about his message to Virat Kohli regarding his birthday. In reply to that, he said: "Yeah, so tomorrow, I just want to wish a very happy birthday to one of my very good friends, Virat Kohli. Hope you have a great day. I'll send you a text anyway. Enjoy, mate."
