In this tweet, Mayank Agarwal revealed one of the major confusions and questions around a photograph, including himself alongside the star Indian cricketers, including the likes of former skipper MS Dhoni, Rishabh Pant, Hardik Pandya, and Jasprit Bumrah.

The fans were confused and continuously asking about a mysterious hand over Rishabh Pant’s shoulder. This confusion also drew a lot of reactions from Indian cricket fans. Meanwhile, the Karnataka batter has finally revealed the mystery behind this question.

“After years of extensive research, debates, and countless conspiracy theories, let the nation finally know: it is MY hand on Rishabh Pant’s shoulder. Any and all other claims are misleading and not true,” wrote Mayank Agarwal in a recent tweet from his official X handle.

Mayank Agarwal was recently in action on the field when he led the Karnataka state team in the practice match against the Netherlands, who were there in the Alur for their pre-tournament preparations ahead of the ODI World Cup 2023, in India. Karnataka won both practice matches against the Netherlands by 142 runs and 1 wicket, respectively.

The 32-year-old made his last appearance for Team India in the Bengaluru Test against Sri Lanka on March 14, 2022. He has played 21 Tests and 5 ODIs so far; in these appearances, he has scored 1488 Test runs with an average of 41.33, including 4 centuries and 6 half-centuries.

Speaking of Mayank Agarwal’s stint in domestic cricket, he made his last appearance for Karnataka in the Deodhar Trophy where he captained South Zone in the match against East Zone on August 3.
