India is all set to take on Pakistan in the 20-20 World Cup clash on Sunday at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. The clash is expected to be spectacular because the two arch-rivals rarely meet head-on. Former Pakistan pacer Aaqib Javed believes Pakistan's batters will struggle to score against Mohammed Shami and Bhuvneshwar Kumar.

In the powerplay on Sunday, Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan will have to deal with Bhuvneshwar Kumar's swing and Shami's seam on a Melbourne track that is expected to have good carry, according to Javed.

"Shami and Bhuvneshwar are very good seam bowlers. Pakistan's team will face difficulty because it will be tough to score runs against them... Shami is a very good seam bowler when he gets assistance from the pitch and Bhuvneshwar is one of the best in seaming conditions," Javed said on PakTV.

He also stated that losing Jasprit Bumrah in Australian conditions will not be a major setback for India, because they have bowlers who can take advantage of the conditions. "It would have been a much bigger blow had they not been playing in Australia. Bumrah can create stuff on flat pitches with his yorkers, bouncers and pace variations but in Australian conditions, India have bowlers who can do a good job," Javed added.

BHuvneshwar Kumar and Mohammed Shami will be crucial for India

Earlier this year, Bhuvneshwar Kumar had dismissed Babar Azam with the new ball in the Asia Cup. The fact that he has been in good rhythm through the first six overs gives India hope of unseating the Babar-Rizwan opening pair. If they can do that, the Indian spinners will be able to put immense pressure on Pakistan's middle order.

Shami's fitness, on the other hand, will be a source of concern for India. He bowled a brilliant last over in the warm-up match against Australia, taking three wickets and giving away only four runs when Australia needed 11 to win, but that was his only over in competitive cricket recently.
