The star New Zealand pacer Lockie Ferguson has come back in action in the ongoing Indian Premier League 2023 after a hiatus from cricket due to an injury. Meanwhile, he stunned everyone by bowling the fastest delivery of the current season in only his first appearance for
Kolkata Knight Riders.
The moment came on the second ball of the fourth over of the first innings when the hosts Gujarat Titans were batting first after winning the toss. Ferguson bowled this delivery of 154.1 kmph to Gujarat Titans opener Shubman Gill.

Speaking of the current action of the match between GT and KKR, Kolkata Knight Riders are chasing the target of 205 runs in 20 overs posted by Gujarat Titans. KKR have scored 86 runs for the loss of two wickets in 9.5 overs.
