Team India will be back in action against Australia in the World Test Championship (WTC) final which will take place between June 7 and 11 at The Oval. There will also be a reserve day on June 12 if the match gets interrupted by rain. The Indian team will need the guidance of experienced players like Virat Kohli and skipper Rohit Sharma.
Rohit and Kohli have shared the dressing room several times during the course of their long-standing friendship. Meanwhile, ahead of the WTC final, Kohli praised the destructive Indian opener and said that when he first saw Rohit bat, he was astounded by the hype that surrounded him at the time.
“Rohit always had more time than anyone, when I saw Rohit Sharma batting for the very first time, I understood what the hype was all about and why he was rated so highly. What Rohit has done in White ball cricket for a long period, everyone knew his talent but the way he performed in tests in the last few years showed his belief that he can do it in tests at the highest level, he has done really in England conditions," Kohli was quoted as saying by News18.
I enjoy watching Rohit from the other end: Virat Kohli
Australia and India have faced off in 106 Test matches. The Kangaroos have won 44 tests, while India have won 32, and 29 tests have been drawn. Rohit has led India in four Tests against Australia, however, Kohli continued to praise Kohli and said that opening the innings in any format is a tough job but Rohit has performed really well and he enjoys watching him play from the other end.
“The way he performed in tests in the last few years has shown the testimony of his temperament and opening the innings is a tough job and he did a great job, he has performed well in all formats, enjoy watching him, especially from other end and hopefully he can repeat his performance what he did in Oval in last time."

Virat is Hardwork.
lovely to see both praising each other talent. Fans should also try to stay united when both play for India rather than wishing for ducks or low scores for other one.🙂🙂

He says everyone is better than him
Though kohli knows very well no one comes close to his skills and temperament
But why he is choking in crucial matches.

No offence but that was past. Considering the current form, Rohit Sharma doesn’t qualify to play this test (as a batsman). He looks so tired. Needs rest for couple of months.
