Speaking of the match between Chennai Super Kings and Delhi Capitals, the hosts’ skipper MS Dhoni won the toss and decided to bat first. Batting first, the CSK posted a total of 167 runs for the loss of eight wickets in the allotted 20 overs at the home ground MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.

Later on, MS Dhoni’s men managed to defend the target and restricted Delhi to the score of 140 runs for the loss of eight wickets in the entire 20 overs. Eventually, the yellow outfits won the match by a margin of 27 runs to keep their winning momentum in the tournament.

Coming back to Prithvi Shaw, he was not a part of the playing XI of DC in yesterday’s match against Chennai Super Kings. The young Southpaw is not in a good run of form with the bat in the current season of the Indian Premier League 2023.
