Tickets for the much-awaited 2023 Men's ODI World Cup will go on sale from August 25, 41 days before the curtain raiser of the marquee event. The announcement came shortly after the Cricket Governing Body released the new schedule for the 50-over tournament, which will begin on October 5 with last edition's finalists England and New Zealand facing each other at the Narendra Modi Stadium.
There will be a seven-phase ticket sale, beginning on August 25 with the sale for all non-Indian matches in the warm-ups and tournament. The second phase begins on August 30 and is the tickets for India's warm-up matches - against England on September 30 in Guwahati and Netherlands/Sri Lanka in Thiruvananthapuram on October 3. Following that, ticket sales for the Men in Blue's tournament matches will begin on August 31, and fans will be able to purchase tickets for the semi-finals and finals on September 15.

August 31: India World Cup matches in Chennai (vs Australia, Oct 8), Delhi (vs Afghanistan, Oct 11) and Pune (vs Bangladesh, Oct 19)
September 1: India World Cup matches in Dharamsala (vs New Zealand, Oct 22), Lucknow (vs England, Oct 29) and Mumbai (vs Sri Lanka, Nov 2)
September 2: India World Cup matches in Kolkata (vs South Africa, Nov 5) and Bengaluru (vs Netherlands, Nov 12)
September 3: India World Cup matches in Ahmedabad (vs Pakistan, Oct 14)
September 15: Semi-finals and final
In a statement following the announcement on ticket sales, the Cricket Governing Body explained that ahead of the tickets going on sale, fans can register their interest for the same from August 15 via “https://www.cricketworldcup.com/register”. This is in a bid to help fans receive updates on ticket sales and secure their seats for their favourite matches.
"We call on all of cricket's hundreds of millions of fans to register your interest from next week to ensure you are one of the first to receive ticket news and to be a part of the biggest Cricket World Cup," Chris Tetley, governing body's head of events, said.
