England are currently busy playing the three-match Test series in Pakistan. The series started back on 1 December 2022 in Rawalpindi. After a long gap of 17 years, England came to Pakistan to play a Test series. So, fans were in a jubilant mood as they were waiting to see a great battle between these sides.
However, before this series, Ben Stokes shared a message on his official Twitter account. There, he said that all the match fees from the upcoming Test series will be donated to the flood victims in Pakistan. He wrote: "It is great to be in Pakistan for the first time for this historic series. To be back here after 17 years as a Test side is very exciting. There is a sense of responsibility amongst the playing and support group and to be there is special."
Fans trolled England’s Barmy Army for sharing that video on Twitter
"The floods that devastated Pakistan earlier this year were very sad to see and have had a significant impact on the country and the people. The game has given me a lot in my life and I feel it's only right to give something back that goes far beyond cricket. I will be donating my match fees from this Test series to the Pakistan flood appeal," he added. But, England managed to kick off this series with a historical win in Rawalpindi.
Then, they continued their winning momentum in the Multan Test as England sealed the series. However, they will now look to clean sweep the Men in Green in their home when they will face them in the third Test in Karachi, starting on 17 December. Meanwhile, England’s Barmy Army are also here to support their team. In the Multan Test, they came up with a funny song to send off Pakistan skipper, Babar Azam. Now, they shared a video where one of them tried Multan’s famous food ‘Sohan halwa’ before leaving the city. However, the fans loved the taste of the food as it seemed. But, fans came up with some epic trolls as the video has now gone viral all over the internet.
