Pakistan has always been a paradise for pace bowlers and their pace battery has been one of the most lethal and furious. From Shoaib Akhtar to Shaheen Shah Afridi, they have been producing Amazing fast bowlers who can continuously bowl at 150+ Kmph. Now, another pace sensation emerges in the country as Multan Sultans' pacer Ishanullah clocked 150+ speed in a Pakistan Super League game against Quetta Gladiators.

The 20-year-old cricketer made headlines on Wednesday when he smashed Sarfaraz Ahmed's stumps with a delivery that soared at over 150 kph. He finished with figures of 5/12 in four overs in the game and becomes the top wicket-tacker of the ongoing PSL season. He has clinched 12 wickets in four matches and has been lethal in the tournament. Following his performance, he has been included in the Pakistani squad to play against New Zealand in Tests.

Talking about his inclusion in the Test squad, former Pakistan all-rounder Abdul Razzaq made a significant remark regarding pacer. Razzaq believes that Ishanullah can bowl 160 Kmph easily. In response to his statement, the young pacer also made several claims and challenged India Pacer Umran Malik’s bowling records. “Inshallah, koshish karunga. Umran Malik ne jo 157kph pe ball kiya hai, main koshish karunga uss se upar karunga. Umran Malik se upar karunga, 160 karunga”, he said.

“Want to take fifer against India”, Ishanullah dreams of big

Earlier, Pakistan Pacer also opened up about his dream of representing Pakistan against India on the biggest stage of the game and taking the fifer for the team. After winning the game against Quetta Gladiators, Ishanullah spoke to Samma TV and said, “I want to make my debut against India in the World Cup and take a five-wicket haul. I want to help Pakistan win; it would give me immense happiness.”

Notably, India Pacer Umran Malik last month broke the Indian record of fastest delivery when he clocked 157 Kmph against Sri Lanka. Umran, who hails from Kashmir, is an integral part of India’s limited over setup and continues to amaze fans with his blistering bowling.

However, fans react to the claims made by the young Pakistani bowler. A Twitter user said, “abe phle ande se toh nikal jao.”
