In this modern era of social media; where fans are driven even by a single social media post from their favorite stars, or their favorite personality from either walk of life. A similar is with the cricketers, the fans eagerly want to know about their well-being and another part of their personal life apart from their actions on the cricketing field.

A similar happened with the former Indian skipper and batting superstar, Virat Kohli just after his remarkable century in the recently concluded fourth and last of the four-match Test series against Australia. Virat Kohli’s wife and renowned Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma went on to reveal the former’s reported sickness when he was batting during the Ahmedabad Test.

“Playing through sickness with this composure. Inspiring me always (a heart emoji),” read the Instagram story posted by Anushka Sharma just after Virat’s century.

But, the Indian skipper Rohit Sharma in utter shock to a lot of cricket fans, went on to deny the fact by saying “I don’t think Virat Kohli was sick, but yeah he was coughing a bit,” in the aftermath of the last Test of the series against Australia.

Although this statement from Rohit was taken by a lot of cricket fans to come up with some interesting and hilarious reactions. Some of the fans also speculated a reported upcoming social media war between Rohit Sharma and Virat’s wife Anushka Shama.

Now, Virat Kohli will be in action with Team India in the upcoming three-match ODI series against Australia; starting with the first ODI on Friday, the 17th of March at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Whereas, the regular skipper Rohit Sharma will be missing the ODI series opener against the Aussies due to personal commitments.

In Rohit’s absence, the star Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya will be leading the team in the Mumbai ODI against the visitors.
