As reported by Sports Tak, Rohit Sharma has tested negative for Covid-19 after he missed the rescheduled fifth Test against England. After completely recovering from Covid, Rohit will surely participate in the limited-overs series against England, which begins on Thursday, July 7, 2022.

Sharma has now received two negative results and has recovered completely from Covid 19. Some fans, however, were ready to mock him for it because he arrived one day late for the Indian team to face England in the fifth and final Test of the series.

The narrative of the trolling is that Rohit Sharma was terrified of playing against bowlers like James Anderson and Stuart Broad in the longest format of the game because it would have ruined his record as India's captain if the team lost under his leadership.

Fans have noticed that Rohit Sharma is ruled out of contention almost every time an overseas Test series is scheduled. The majority of this is due to his health issues. Sharma was injured on the tours of Australia 2020, New Zealand 2020, and South Africa 2021 before pulling out from the Indian team ahead of the England Test.

Having said that, it is also worth noting that Sharma was the Indian cricket team's highest run-scorer in the first four matches of the India-England Test series. The tour was, however, postponed owing to covid-positive cases in the visitor's camp. He had scored 368 runs, which included his magnificent 127-run innings and two half-centuries. He batted with an average of 52.57.

In Rohit Sharma's absence, Jasprit Bumrah has been chosen team captain. He has done a brilliant job for the team so far. Rishabh Pant and Ravindra Jadeja both struck centuries in the first innings, leading India to a total of 416 runs. The bowlers then followed it up with quick wickets. By the end of day two, England had lost five wickets for a total of 84 runs.
