Rajkumar Rao will play the role of Mahendra, while Janhavi Kapoor will play the role of his wife Mahima. This is not the first film on the life of MS Dhoni. Earlier, a movie named MS Dhoni: The untold story was also made on the life of MS Dhoni. The movie was a blockbuster on the Silver screen.
The duo of Rajkumar Rao and Jhanvi Kapoor was last seen in the horror-comedy 'Roohi.' Sharan Sharma, the film director, previously made 'Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl,' also starring Jhanvi Kapoor.
Meanwhile, MS Dhoni is reported to be in Chennai, working with the management of the Chennai franchise for the upcoming Indian T20 League mega auctions. He was retained by the franchise as their captain, and he will now build the team for the upcoming seasons. The World Cup-winning captain has a life story worthy of a film, as he guided India to the three major multi-national titles.
