Lucknow team in the Indian T20 League has been facing the heat after they posted the images of KL Rahul and Avesh Khan. The incident happened hours after India won against Hong Kong in their last Group A game. The franchise posted images of both players alongside the Men In Blue from the game. Notably, Rahul and Khan had minimal impact on the team's result in the game.
First up was the right-hander who could only score a painful 39-ball 36. During the innings, he could only score two sixes. Bifurcating the innings, apart from the 12 runs that came off two balls, he scored 24 in 38 balls against an inexperienced bowling attack. On the other hand, Khan was bashed by the Hong Kong batters. He gave away 53 runs in his four-over spell.

Both players played for the Lucknow team in the Indian T20 League a few months back. Rahul was signed ahead of the mega auction in January this year. On the other hand, Khan was signed at a whooping amount of 10 crores INR during the auction. KL had a decent season with the bat while the pacer had a mixed season with the ball. Both players are having a tough time in the last few months. The Bangalore-born player missed a few series against South Africa, England, and the West Indies due to injuries and COVID19.
He recently made a comeback in the ODI series against Zimbabwe. The 30-year-old was expected to make a strong comeback against an inexperienced bowling attack. However, in a surprising turn of events, he has been struggling to get fluent runs on the board. On the other hand, Khan has been inconsistent with the ball in the three months.
