Pakistan are currently busy playing the ongoing two-match home Test series against the Kiwis. The Men in Green are looking for a positive result from this series after England whitewashed them at home in a three-match Test series. However, after that series loss, the Pakistan Cricket Board sacked Ramiz Raja from the Chairman post.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Shariff approved Najam Sethi’s appointment as the new PCB Chairman. However, regarding that whole matter, Ramiz Raja finally spoke on his YouTube channel and slammed the Pakistan Cricket Board during a live fan forum. Now, he again came up with some huge remarks regarding the Asia Cup 2023 debate.

“Are we servant of India just because they are a world power in cricket?” - Ramiz Raja

While speaking on Dunya News, Ramiz Raja said asked if they are servants of India just because they have their power in world cricket. He said: "What is leadership? When the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) has asked Pakistan to host a tournament and then India say they won't travel to Pakistan and shift the tournament to a neutral venue, what should be the response? Are we servant of India just because they are a world power in cricket? Should we listen to everything they say?"

"We will think, will we get isolated, we'll ask permission from the government then talks will move further. These are not signs of good leadership. The Pakistan cricket team is enjoying a great run, you have a good fan following, you have superstars, so please give your team and fans the respect they deserve," Ramiz Raja added.

However, this whole Asia Cup 2023 debate happened during Ramiz Raja’s tenure. Asia Cup 2023 is going to happen in Pakistan. Regarding that, Jay Shah said tha India will not travel to Pakistan and the tournament will occur in a neutral venue. After that, the former PCB Chairman said that if India do not come to their country for the Asia Cup, then they will also not go to India for the 50-over World Cup in 2023.
