The legendary World Cup winner skipper Lionel Messi has become the talk of the town in the global sports paradigm across the sporting world. Narendra Modi happened to heap the praise on the Argentine team and Lionel Messi for the historic feat they accomplished during the FIFA World Cup 2022 with a congratulatory tweet from his official Twitter handle.

Currently, the Indian PM has got a special gift from YPF, an Argentine state-owned energy company’s president Pablo Gonzalez during India Energy Week.

Coming back to the 35-year-old football superstar, he had recently been in an interview with Dario Ole where he expressed his desire to settle down in Barcelona after hanging his boots in professional international football.
"When I finish my career, I will return to live in Barcelona, it's my home," said Messi to De Ole.
"I kept everything from the final: The boots, the t-shirts... Everything is there on the AFA property and now in March, I'm going to take everything to Barcelona, where I have my things and my memories,” he added later.
