Arsenal is already thinking about the new season and Mikel Arteta seems to have already defined the targets for the next transfer window. Arsenal's coach wants to take advantage of his in-depth knowledge about Spanish football to bring some of La Liga's best young talents to London. Thomas Partey is the biggest name, but there are more stars that the Spanish coach wants to take to the Premier League.

Thomas Partey (Atletico Madrid)

According to Spanish media, Thomas Partey could be Arsenal's biggest transfer for next season. The agreement between the club and the player may be very close. The 27-year-old midfielder may leave the Spanish capital this summer, but Atletico is unlikely to lower his price below €40 million. An amount that Arsenal seems to be willing to pay. Partey has a contract with Atlético until 2023.

Carlos Soler (Valencia)

Another name under Arsenal's radar is Carlos Soler, from Valencia. Valencia's finances will need to be balanced at the end of the season and the club will have to sell players. Currently valued at €40 million, Soler is a great prospect and Arteta knows it. However, Valencia should not accept less than €40 million for the player who has a contract until 2023.

Marc Roca (Espanyol)

Despite Espanyol's tough season, Marc Roca has been one of the standouts in la Liga. He established himself as one of the rising stars of the Spanish championship and the big clubs are keen to get a good deal. €16 million is his current market value, but Espanyol's delicate situation could “force” the club to release the player for a lower amount.

Enis Bardhi (Levante)

Arteta has also been following Levante's Macedonian midfielder Enis Bardhi. With just 24, Bardhi is in the third season in La Liga. He scored 16 goals and added 10 assists in 96 appearances. He's one of the most talented players in the Spanish League. €12 million is the current market value, but Levante is expected to demand a higher value for the player.

Solved issues and doubts at Arsenal

The squad still has some cases to solve for 2020/21. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is yet to sign a new deal and may leave. In the same situation is the young player Bukayo Saka.

On the other hand, Arteta solved some problems in the defense with the hiring of Pablo Mari and Cedric Soares, as well as the renewal of David Luiz. Dani Ceballos, loaned by Real Madrid, could be the next man to secure his future in the club.
