'As brilliant as helicopter shot' - From cricket legends to Bollywood stars, all in awe of MS Dhoni's thrilling new ad

From Virender Sehwag to Harsha Bhogle, everyone is enjoying the new Unacademy Ad featuring former India skipper MS Dhoni. The Bengaluru-based company released the advert on its official Twitter handle.

In the video, the former India skipper was donning wicketkeeping gloves on a railway track as he raced with a train. In the first frame, it is visible that a ball was coming down like a meteor. Dhoni kept his eyes on the ball but he saw a train approaching towards him. He started racing against the train and went through multiple walls on his way.

He then saw that the ball is falling down and had to jump over the walls ahead. He performed a summersalt to bring the first wall and then climbed on every wall ahead as the train started ripping through the walls. The right-hander through one glove and held on to the ball whilst in the air before the train could reach him. The train dramatically melted itself in front of Dhoni as the ad film nears its end.

According to founder and CEO Gaurav Munjal of the company, the ad film took almost one year to complete. "Our most ambitious and iconic film till date. Took almost one year to make," he wrote while sharing the video on Twitter. The caption of the video said that make a note to remember Lesson number seven during tough times.

"Eyes on the target and determination to break every barrier makes a champion! This International Day of Education, make a note to remember Lesson No 7 during tough times," the video caption read.

After the Ad release, celebrities such as former India cricketer Virender Sehwag, cricket commentator Harsha Bhogle and actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu praised the Ad and remembered MS Dhoni's struggles and achievements.
