India and Australia are taking on each other in the fourth and last of the three-match Test series at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Australia’s stand-in skipper Steve Smith won the flip of the coin and decided to bat first. Apart from that, this Ahmedabad Test is also historic for both teams in many ways.
Both countries, India and Australia, are celebrating 75 years of their relationship through cricket since India’s first tour to Australia after they got independence. On this occasion, the hon’ble PMs of both countries, Narendra Modi and his Australian counterpart Anthony Albanese were there in the stadium to embrace the players; they also had a lap of honor before the start of the match.
Apart from that, PM Modi shook hands with the players of the Team at the time of the national anthem; meanwhile, the young Indian player Ishan Kishan made it to the headlines of social media for one of his antic during the team’s handshake with Prime Minister Modi.
Ishan was seen putting his hands in his trouser while PM Modi was shaking hands with the senior Indian pacer Umesh Yadav. The eagle-eyed Indian cricket fans didn’t make it too late to notice the same; later on, they trolled Ishan and reacted to the same with a lot of hilarious and interesting reactions.
