KL Rahul

The Indian opener and veteran batter, KL Rahul has failed yet another time to deliver up to the expectations in the first Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy against Australia. The 30-year-old fell prey to the debutant Todd Murphy on the delivery bowled by the latter just in the penultimate over before the day’s play ended.

The senior Karnataka batter could score only 20 runs off 71 balls with only one boundary. Notably, KL was on a hiatus from international cricket due to his marriage. Prior to that, he was struggling with his poor run of form with the bat including the two bilateral clashes against Bangladesh and Sri Lanka following a horrific run in the 20-20 World Cup 2022.
