Shaheen Afridi made a great comeback during the warm-up matches against England and Afghanistan
Speaking of the video, Shaheen Afridi was seen having a chat with a cute kid. He said: “Babar Azam banna hai? Cricket khelni hai?” fans found it funny as the pacer from Pakistan looked so lovely with that kid. However, Babar Azam got some relief after having back Shaheen Afridi in the team for the World Cup.
In both the warm-up matches against England and Afghanistan, Shaheen Afridi looked in a good rhythm. Against England, he conceded only seven runs in two overs. But, Shaheen went wicketless in the match. But, against the Afghans, he looked dangerous with his fiery opening spell.
In that match, he took two wickets for 29 runs in four overs. Shaheen Afridi’s toe-crushing yorker to Gurbaz made headlines. However, many fans did not expect Afridi to be fit for the mega event. Still, he made it to the World Cup, and now, Pakistan will look for a great show from this exciting bowler. In the last edition of the World Cup, he gave early breakthroughs and that helped Pakistan in gaining an advantage over the Men in Blue. It was instrumental in defeating India for the first time ever in any World Cup match.
