In the ongoing Asia Cup 2022, both the India-Pakistan games have been absolute thrillers. For the first time in many years, this has happened. During both matches, the fans and the players experienced an adrenaline rush. Meanwhile, after the recently concluded Super Four game between the two teams, the England cricket fan club, Barmy Army took a dig at the Asian rivalry.
They took to Twitter and wrote 'Ashes > India vs Pakistan anyway'.

Stating the obvious, the tweet hasn't gone down well with the India and Pakistan fans. They have been trolling the England Cricket Fan Club right, left, and centre. Talking about the Ashes, it is a rivalry between England and Australia which is going on since the late 19th century. Over the course of more than 100 years, both teams played a five-match Test series which is one of the highly anticipated series in world cricket.
However, in the last few years, most of the Ashes have been heavily lopsided in the favor of the home teams. Apart from the 2010 and 2019 Ashes, home teams have had an upper hand in one of the biggest rivalries. Aussies haven't been able to win an Ashes series in the United Kingdom since 2001. At that time, Steve Waugh led the side to victory. In 2019, they came close but lost the last game of the series to settle with a 2-2 draw.
On the other hand, the Three Lions haven't been able to win the series Down Under since 2010-11. At that time, Andrew Strauss led the team to victory. Since then, England hasn't been able to win a Test in Australia let alone win a series. Talking about the India-Pakistan rivalry, they haven't played a bilateral series since 2012-13. At that time, both teams played a two-match T20I series and a three-match ODI series. Talking about Tests, they played their last series in 2007.
