Babar Azam will look to win the 20-20 World Cup this time after losing in the semi-final of the last edition
Speaking of the video, a reporter asked Babar Azam about the weather in Melbourne. In the last few days, the weather in Melbourne is not good as rain has been happening frequently. So, the reporters asked if Pakistani players are singing the “Rain Rain Go Away” song ahead of the clash with India.
Babar Azam found the question funny and he came up with a hilarious reply. He said: “Nahi sai! Yeah bacche ko lori nahi suna rahe hai.” (No sir! We are not singing cradle songs to children here.) Some other reporters also found the reply funny and they burst into laughter. However, Babar Azam also said that no one has any control over the weather.
Speaking about the Melbourne weather, Rohit Sharma said: “In hindsight, if you look at it (the toss), yes, it does become a little important. But again, I’ve been hearing about Melbourne weather for a while now, and it keeps changing. In the morning when I woke up, a lot of the buildings when I opened my hotel curtains were in clouds, and now we certainly see the sunshine. You don’t really know what is going to happen tomorrow. The things that are in our control, we’ll try and control that, which is we’ll have a good training session today, go back, relax and get ready for tomorrow. As simple as that. We need to come here thinking that it’s a 40-over game. We will be ready for that.”
