The veteran Australian pacer Mitchell Starc has come up with a big statement when he was asked if he ‘regrets money’ after missing the cash-rich Indian franchise tournament, Indian Premier League. After the historic World Test Championship 2023 final win against India, Mitchell Starc talked briefly about how he felt after being a member of the team winning the World Test Championship.
"Money will come & go but I am very very grateful for the opportunity I had, over a hundred years of Test cricket and there have been less than 500 men who have played for Australia, that makes it special for me so I don't regret the money from IPL,” said Starc to The Guardian.
Following this statement from Mitchell Starc, the cricket fans didn’t make it too late to come up with a lot of hilarious and interesting reactions on the micro-blogging site Twitter. Some of the fans also took to Twitter to take a dig at the Indian players who were part of the Indian Premier League 2023 even only two weeks before the commencement of the all-important WTC 2023 final against Australia.

What a player and what a mindset. There’s our Kohli who is less worried about cricket and more about commercials. Such a looser.
