Ben stokes, recently, vented his anger on social media with regards to the racial abuse incident that had occurred at Edgbaston. He has put his foot down on the issue and he has exclaimed that there is no place for racism in the game at all. He expressed his disappointment openly about the occurrence and he has categorically told that such things should not happen and that these incidents are not good for the game in any way.

The ace English all-rounder has hoped that the T20I and ODI series will provide the fans with a good , fun, carnival like atmosphere and that the fans will come with a high turnout to enjoy the white ball shorter form games.

“Amazing week on the pitch but really disappointed to hear reports of racist abuse at Edgbaston,” the England red-ball skipper wrote on Twitter. “Absolutely no place for it in the game. Hope all the fans at the white-ball series have a brilliant time and create a party atmosphere. That’s what cricket’s about!!,” he added.

"To conclude, It is good to see more and more star cricketers standing up for racism and openly putting out their thoughts that racism should not be practiced or carried out in any form , anywhere, and that it should be totally eliminated from the game. Racism also makes anyone feel very low and puts a person in a very sad state so all measures should be taken to totally exterminate it from a game like cricket which is called the " gentlemen's game'

A recent racism incident in recollection is an incident involving Mohammed Siraj in Australia when they Indian team toured there in 2020-2021 during the height of the coronavirus pandemic.

It is very heartwarming to see the star cricketers standing up for important issues like these and voicing their important opinions out which help make the world a better place to live in.
