‘Ben Stokes se bheek mang lete!’ - Fans react to pathetic arrangements in draft ceremony of PSL

Pakistan are currently busy playing the ongoing three-match Test series at home against England. After a long gap of 17 years, England came here to play a Test series. So, it was a great moment for all home fans to witness a great series between these sides. However, Pakistan already lost the series by losing the first two matches.

Now, they will look to avoid the clean sweep at the hand of the visitors when the Men in Green will take on them on 17 December 2022 in Karachi. Meanwhile, on 15 December, the draft of season eight of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) took place in Karachi. Speaking of this tournament, this league is a professional Twenty20 cricket league contested by six teams representing six cities in Pakistan.

Fans were not happy with Ramiz Raja for such a pathetic arrangement during the PSL 8 draft

Speaking of this new season of PSL, it is going to take place in 2023. Lahore Qalandars are the defending champions and they will look to defend their PSL title next year. But, on the day of the draft, fans were shocked as there was no light and no mic in that event. This incident happened due to some production failure. Hence, fans from Pakistan and those across the border in India mocked Ramiz Raja and the Pakistan Cricket Board.

However, the lights did return and the draft resumed. Recently, the Rawalpindi pitch got demerit points from the Governing Body of Cricket based on its behavior in the first Test. So, fans also slammed Ramiz Raza for it. However, before the Test series, Ben Stokes announced that he will donate all of the match fees from this ongoing Test series to the affected people in Pakistan by the flood. So, some fans also criticized Ramiz Raja and asked help from the England skipper to organize the PSL event properly. Meanwhile, the draft got completed and all six teams managed to make a good squad for the next edition of PSL.
