'Best character I've shared a dressing room with' - Marcus Rashford lauds ex-Manchester star who is 'beyond anything'

Star England left winger Marcus Rashford recently showered praise on his former Manchester United teammate Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Rashford named the latter as the best character out of the players with whom he has shared the dressing room so far.

Notably, the former Sweden international joined the Manchester club in 2016 during the summer. Earlier, he used to play for the popular French club Paris Saint-Germain (PSG). He was there with the Red Devils for a period of 18 months before going to LA Galaxy in the US.

Coming back to Rashford, he spoke very highly for the 41-year-old and praised his attitude off the field including the dressing room experiences. "Best character I've shared a dressing room with? Probably, Zlatan, he's funny. He's just himself no matter where he goes. How he is with the players is how he a fan if he meets them on the street,” said Rashford to Gary Neville on the Overlap.

Earlier in an interview with one football, Rashford also credited Ibrahimovic for his growth at Manchester United. “His mentality was beyond anything I'd ever played with before. He didn't care what anyone would say or what anyone was saying about him. In terms of mentality, he was key to my development,” said Rashford.

Apart from this, Zlatan also praised his junior teammate Rashford. The former named him the ‘future of Manchester United’. Apart from this, Ibrahimovic also felt that the 25-year-old has ‘no limits.

"Rashford is the future of ManUtd. In the beginning, I saw him more as an individual - now he is playing more for the collective. He is using his quality more for the team, not for himself only. He has big potential and a big future with United and the special thing is that he comes from the academy. I think he has no limits,” said Ibrahimovic to Daily Mirro’s Andy Dunn.
