On the other hand, skipper Ravindra Jadeja scored an unbeaten 22 off 12 balls including two sixes. In reply, the Men In Blue had a poor start as opener Shubhman Gill (0) got a golden duck on the last ball of the first over. He was caught by Uthappa off Mukesh Choudhary. In the next over, Shankar (0) was caught behind by MS Dhoni off Maheesh Theekshana. Two overs later, Abhinav Manohar (12) became the second victim of Theekshana.

Wriddhiman Saha (11), who was playing in place of Matthew Wade, was struggling at the crease before he got out to Jadeja.
